Sartorius 17573--------ACK Minisart® SRP15 Syringe Filter, hydrophobic PTFE, 0.2 µm, 15mm, 50/pk

Individually packed and sterile Minisart® SRP syringe filters are optimal for immediate usage whenever sterile filtration or clarification of harsh solvent samples prior to HPLC or GC is needed. The low-binding PTFE membrane is the best option for leachable free filtration. It provides highest chemical compatibility and is suitable for pH values of 1 - 14. For hydrophilic solutions pre-rinsing with a solvent would be necessary to make the hydrophobic membrane permeable for aqueous liquids. Due to the hydrophobic nature Minisart SRP can also be used for sterile venting. The housing of the filter is made of PP (polypropylene) which is compatibility with harsh solvents, acids and bases.
