About the Ereniko Turkish Towel — Sizes, Uses & Care ▾
The Ereniko is the brightest thing on the rail: an off-white cotton–linen ground with clean sunflower-yellow stripes and a fringe knotted in the same two tones. Where our natural colourways disappear into a room, this one lifts it — and it is easy to spot from the water.
What a peshtemal does better
- Dries in a fraction of the time. Flat-woven rather than looped, so it holds less water and air-dries between uses.
- Takes up almost no space. Folds to a quarter of the bulk of a terry bath sheet — a real difference in small cupboards and packed suitcases.
- Sand shakes off. No pile means no grit stuck in the towel.
- Better with every wash. Linen softens as it breaks in and absorbency increases over the first several cycles.
Two sizes
- Bath/Beach 37'' x 73'' — a full bath sheet, long enough to cover a sun lounger.
- Hand/Hair 23'' x 30'' — bathroom rail, kitchen, gym bag, or wrapped around wet hair.
Care
Wash before first use to set the weave. Cool wash, tumble dry low, no bleach and no fabric softener. Wash with like colours for the first couple of cycles to keep the yellow clean and bright.
